Joe Varano

Joe is a Senior Paralegal in the firm’s commercial litigation team.

He began his legal career as a process server in the early 1990’s, where he gained valuable procedural experience working for several notable law firms, serving and filing documents. While employed as a process server, he successfully completed the Paralegal Diploma Program at Seneca College and became licensed in 2013. He has represented clients in various forums such as Ontario Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and various other administrative tribunals.

He focuses on civil litigation and debt recovery matters, primarily representing financial institutions, banks and leasing companies, bringing a practical and detail-oriented approach to every file.

Joe is known for his strong advocacy skills, thorough preparation, and ability to manage files efficiently from intake through resolution. He works closely with clients to explain legal processes clearly and to develop strategies tailored to their specific needs.

Committed to professionalism and results, Joe takes pride in delivering responsive, organized, and effective representation.

Outside the office, Joe enjoys spending time and travelling with his family, staying on top of the latest tech, and supports the Toronto sports teams – through wins and losses.
